IDL recently undertook a project to replace a worn-out and discomforting food service counter for Greenbank Primary School. The existing unit was not only in poor order but also low in height, leading to discomfort for the staff who had to strain their backs to serve meals to the children. Understanding the importance of addressing these issues, we rose to the challenge. We provided a replacement counter but also incorporated a refrigerated well into the design, meeting the staff’s additional requirement for improved functionality.

Despite the complexities involved, including the need to fit the new counter around the existing pillar and walls, IDL successfully completed the installation on time and within budget. The result was a new food service counter that not only offers a comfortable working height for the staff but also features a lower tray slide, making it convenient for the children receiving their meals.
