IDL Return to St Luke's

In February 2021, IDL worked with St Luke’s school in Kingston to refresh their staff room, you can read about this visit here.

We continued to work closely with our customers, supplying them with one off pieces of catering and refrigeration equipment. However, in February 2022 the head teacher, Gareth Dutton, advised that he wanted to relocate the existing staff to a room that was being used as a classroom.

IDL attended site to survey the existing classroom and meet with the head teacher to understand their requirement and what they wanted to achieve.

Following the survey, IDL worked on a design and a plan view and a 3D drawing was produced. This allowed our customers to see exactly what the end result would look like and reassured them that we had understood their requirements.

We returned to site in August 2022, during the summer holidays, to start our installation.

Our team removed the existing floor cupboards and flooring and plumbing alterations were made to accept the new domestic appliances.

We began the new look by installing new Vinyl flooring and carpet tiles. Next, our joiners fitted a new kitchen including floor and wall cupboards, splashback, sink unit, tap and Lincat water boiler which offered filtered cold water and boiling water. We also fitted a Bosch washing machine, Bosch upright refrigerator, Bosch under counter freezer and a Miele washing machine.

IDL also had the pleasure of supplying new furniture for the staff room and board room.
