Hinde House School
IDL were awarded the contract to replace the old hot cupboards at Hinde House School in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Based in the Shiregreen area of the city, Hinde House School is a mixed all-through school, housing over 1300 pupils aged 3 to 16.
By accommodating such a high number of students, many of which receive a daily hot school dinner, it was essential that the school had fully operational and efficient hot cupboards to hold the large volume of pre-cooked ingredients and store hundreds of plates for the large pool of students.
The new counters were built by our preferred stainless steel fabricator, ML stainless, and included fully welded tanks, with a 500-watt element for each pan and controlled by one thermostat.
While the durable hot cupboard units featured a vented base, closing with convenient sliding doors and mounted on heavy-duty castors.
Working closely with our customer, we ensured that the counters were delivered and installed to the highest possible standard and following the clients’ needs, ready for the school re-opening in September.
