David is a qualified electrical engineer with over 30 years experience in the installation and service of catering equipment, formerly with Hobart, Pearl, Convotherm and Enodis.
David’s background is engineering and manufacturing enabled him to recognise the potential of the company from its inception when he joined David Maltby to support the company’s growth.
After starting in the catering industry as a production baker John moved on to sales for manufacturers of catering equipment including Hobart, Bonnet, Convotherm, Enodis and MKN. He combines a passion for kitchen design with a detailed approach, whether in smaller restaurants and hotels or in large-scale public sector and industrial catering facilities.
Experience in the Retail, Healthcare, IT and Voluntary Sectors as well as in the Hospitality Sector with Enodis and Convotherm as Joint MD provides a good background in management and finance to the businesses under the IDL banner.
Mark has a strong focus on planning, logistics and support within the commercial catering equipment industry. Previously with Lloyds Catering Equipment Mark's experience includes one-off replacements to complete projects with both major chains and independent clients.
Amy knows the Hospitality sector's needs well with a background in Front of House Management in 5 star Hotels. She prides herself in excellent Customer Service and specialises in the sale of Light Equipment.
